Overview of Process
The final New Product Development stage before mass
production is approval of prototypes. The basic process for prototype
approval is the following:
1. The prototype approval process is similar to the artwork approval process.
2. You will complete a prototype approval form.
3. You will mail the form and prototype to CMG.
After your prototype is reviewed, we will inform you about your status.
If you are not approved, you will have to make changes and resubmit
your
prototype.
When you have received final approval of a prototype, you are ready to enter
the production phase. You may move on to the Existing License Maintenance portion
of the Licensing
Center or if you wish to develop a new product, return to the beginning of the
New Product
Development section.
