Bettie Page was Beautiful, Fresh, Spontaneous, Alive, Gorgeous, Amazing, Breathtaking, Endearing, Enduring, Joyous, Completely Believable and Truly Unique. I can only hope to make music that embodies a fraction of the qualities she possessed.

With "Bettie Page (You're A Knockout)" my goal was to write a professional, radio or movie/tv soundtrack friendly, structured, song "package" that would put words to, and compliment, Bettie's multifaceted photographic and artistic brilliance. I didn't want to over complicate or turn it into a ballad or retro piece. It's a bumping song that will hopefully get your foot tapping and body boppin'. The bump and pop is offset with a melodic instrumental that provides a different texture and flavour for a bit. I wanted to write a straight forward Rock song with lyrics and a catchy hook that people would be comfortable with and enjoy singing along to. I hope I've accomplished that.

The video is to showcase a mere handful of my favorite images and illustrate the song.
