Me and my husband (Tommy
Dollar) are
artists working together. Great part of our art (photography,
painting and collage)
is devoted to different aspects of fetishism as well as to great
icons of the twentieth century. Bettie Page is certainly one of
those people who were ahead of their times, and made a difference.
She was one of the first "power girls." We admire her for her
guts, sex-appeal, self-distance and sense of humour. She is the
one who brought the fetishism into daylight. She inspired, liberated
and gave courage to many coming female generations. We must say
we are very happy, that Bettie admired mostly by avant-garde crowd
and living for so long in underground finally gets her revival
all over the world in cinema, fashion and art. Something once
taboo she stood for became today a new trend she represents. She
is indisputably the Queen of Fetish.
