I have had a facination with pin-up
girls from the 40s for quite a long time but Bettie is definetly
my favorite, she is the Queen of Pin-up . I really love everything
about her, her beauty, her uniqueness, the way she graced the pages
of so many magazines and photos erotic and exotic. And with all
the photographers she did work with and in so many different areas
and
places. I wish
I could be as lucky as her to find all the right photographers and
accomplish what she has in her life. Bettie has given me the inspiration
to go off on my own and try new and different things, surprisingly
enough we have alot in common. People would stop me all the time,
when I was all dressed up and out on the town and ask me has anyone
ever told you, you like like the raven haired beauty Bettie Page?
Wow, what a compliment! That's when I started doing photo shoots
trying to strike some of the beautiful poses that she has done.
I love the camera but didn`t realize when I started how many things
I would learn from Bettie in my real life, especially meeting
new photographers and their outlook on all that I am trying to
accomplish.One of my goals would be to meet Bettie. I wish I could
have known her back in the day when she was shooting all the films
and magazines. Now my goal is just for her to see me. Thanks to
you and your Web site it might actually happen. Bettie if your looking
