Andie

Im Andie, a 30 year old model and professional spankee from Worcestershire, England. I’m also a bit of an entrepreneur and have a few websites selling cheeky merchandise of my photographs. I’ve been modelling for just over a year now and fell into it totally by accident after a ‘mess around’ shoot in the snow with a friend. I really enjoy the variation of work I do, be it Art Nude, gothic, or fetish but I am particularly drawn to Pin up as the dressing up and styling is thoroughly good fun and I believe it suits my natural character. I’m just being myself in the shots - a bit shy yet very cheeky! I particularly love Bettie Page as a) SHES GORGEOUS! And b) I relate to her life story so much, I too have come to this pretty late after working in a secretarial background. There seems to have been so many facets to her character- both coy in nature, yet at times uber confident and driven. I like that she was pioneering- unashamed to shock and show her body. I celebrate that she is now appreciated as ‘QUEEN’ when she took a lot of criticism and was misunderstood in her own era. I think models and photographers trying new concepts or risky subject matter can all relate to being on the receiving end and even losing a few friends. I admire her courage and boldness. I enjoy producing images which are risqué, and would rather be loved or hated by my peers rather than sit on the fence of mediocrity! Art is after all about provoking a response and pin up is an excellent medium, Bettie was the best!
