My image of Betty Page is a kind, well mannered southern girl who perhaps unknowingly stirred a serious societal debate on what was considered decent and what was immoral during a very conventional time in the U.S. Betty Page was an icon for her looks and her photographs that destroyed current, unspoken boundaries in art and other areas. She was a beautiful renegade.
