Bettie has been an amazing inspiration for me, I discovered her years back when I was told that "you look like you are a fan of Bettie Page" and I started to look her up. I realized that I had seen her smiling, naughty and intriguing images many times before and now I finally knew who she was. When later taking up modeling she was the first person that came to mind when I stood there in front of the camera for the very first time. I was a bit nervous, of course, but thinking about Bettie got me more secure about what I was supposed to do and it just worked!

And I don't think I've ever done a shoot without Bettie in the back of my head.

She had such a big impact on people!

Either it was that man in the 50's who sneaked out to get a copy of Bettie in bondage, photographers who just blossomed by getting her in front of their lens, girls who are inspired by her beauty, or just about everyone who have fallen in love with her sweet smile.

I bet she couldn't imagine to inspire me, a girl from Sweden, decades later. Her beauty have not only lived on through time, but traveled across the globe.

Almost exactly one year has passed since Bettie left and her memory will never fade, instead I see more and more people getting fascinated by her strength, beauty and positivity.
