If Bettie has influenced your life, career, etc. I'd like to hear your story.

Well, I always thought she was beautiful. She had something special that is for sure. I did read that book 'The truth about Bettie Page" and althou certain events may or may not have happened we wont ever know the reason why........ so it was not really that good.


I enjoyed the movie 'The Notorious Bettie Page" and felt really bad for her and what happened in her life.

O noticed the same actors playing different parts : like the girl in the rapists car was also the acting student, and her husband was also tone of the rapists. Strange.....

Beauty can really be a curse if one does not learn how to harness it's power. It's hard. She looked so happy and joyful in alot of her photos. I think the bondage did her in, and that is why she left and was shamed.

For example her school teaching days, and being used by people....

Back in my younger days, i was more of a tom boy and never bothered with cute clothes or make-up until middle of high school. Once i started getting into art Bettie crossed my path. i sorta got my act together and did a complete transformation. I started my own basic plus size modeling page, and i mean basic. The real breaker was when i met my friend Greta who introduced me to Shane my now boyfriend in 2002, he runs a website called graveyard girls. Once there i really started to get noticed as a sassy plus size pin up and horror theme model, and started enjoying the pinup 50's theme lifestyle. If it had not been for Bettie, I'm sure i would not be sitting here today, i owe her everything. On Dec 11 a part of me died that day.
