Throughout my short life, I'd heard and seen countless references to a beautiful woman named Bettie Page. Only recently did I stop and search for who she actually was and she accomplished.

I was left amazed and breathless. A truly beautiful woman, inside and out. Natural, charming, graceful, unpretentious. These words defined her.

There is a heaven, as Bettie nows. She's there now, smiling at the people in this rememberance listing who appreciated her not only as pinup, but also a person. God bless you, Bettie, and thank you.

You made sexy cool and made your own path doing it. Trailblazers leave a path for those less bold to follow! I hope you finally got some reward for all these image uses from the years before you passed away.

  Dear Bettie
Beautiful Art and Gold are always locked away in Vaults that one can not see into, your beauty was far above those and for ever will be
available to the eyes of the seekers to behold. Carry on forever

"That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death." ~ Phil. 3:10

Bettie Page's favorite Bible verse, featured above her photo in her 1963 Bible School yearbook.

Millions love your free spirit. You meant so much to so many. Truly special. Bettie, you are with God now. Rest in peace.

Bettie was a lifelong Christian and good-hearted, so if there is a heaven I am sure she is there. Personally I think she has done more for that faith than any TV preacher, by showing the world that it is important to be sincere in one's faith - which she clearly was. She also managed to reconcile open sexuality and faith, and in truth there is no contradiction. She was a good person, and made millions of people happy. No one can do more.

So much to say, so little acknowledgement of your art until recently. You are an American icon, a true American sweetheart, and one can only hope that your time now is getting all the respect and appreciation that you deserve.
