Bettie's height, weight and measurements!

Biography

Nice and naughty, shy and daring, simple and exotic, Bettie shone with a freshness never before seen in the modeling scene. Without elaborate props, costumes, or set-dressings, Bettie produced some of the most beautiful shots to ever grace the covers of hundreds of magazines.

Camera Clubs

In the fall of 1950, Bettie Page was simply working as a secretary living in Midtown Manhattan, with dreams of a more fascinating life. It just so happened that during a solitary walk along the beach at Coney Island, she was approached by Jerry Tibbs, a police officer with a hobby of photographing models. The two hit it off instantly and Bettie Page soon posed for her first pinup shots.

Rocketeer

In the early 1980s, comic book writer and illustrator, Dave Stevens, launched a comic book series devoted to the popular comic book styles of the 1930s and 1940s. Stevens' illustrations incorporated original ideas with retro, art deco-inspired themes of the time as well as references to the 1950s. His main character, the Rocketeer, a stunt pilot who discovers a stolen rocket-pack that enables him to fly, uses his new found rocket device to fight crime as the Rocketeer. Stevens thought an animated version of the stunning Bettie Page would be a great addition to his comic creation and developed her as the girlfriend of the Rocketeer.
